Lunéville embroidery is a French handcrafted embroidery technique that has been used since the 19th century on Haute Couture dresses and accessories.
It is characterized by embroidering with different types of rhinestones, ribbons, pearls, sequins and feathers by using a hook needle called «Lunéville needle»
and a frame where a hook needle called «Lunéville needle» and a frame where the fabric is stretched.
It is a work of complexity that requires great patience, precision and meticulousness.

The fabrics on which embroidery is done are natural silk organza, velvets, chiffons, tulles and silks, with silk, cotton, gold and silver threads.
